Dragons that live here are my pets first. I care for each individual dragon and take the time to get them accustomed to handling and other things that happen daily in a household. I also switch around their housing to make the transition to your home easier for them. I am not a commercial breeder, just a private breeder that does so for the love of these reptiles. I only have one or two clutches at a time so that I can ensure proper care and attention to each individual animal. For this reason, dragons may not be available year round. Do you have a store I can visit?
Unfortunately, no. Bearded Dragons are simply my hobby and I work a full time job outside of caring for them. I am happy to suggest different places to buy supplies though and also happy to answer any questions that you may have.
Shipping Information
Dragons will be shipped Monday-Thursday overnight when the low temperature is above 40 degrees. You must be present to sign for the dragon. Dragons are shipped either UPS Air or FedEx Priority Overnight which is guaranteed by 10:30am and shipping prices will be determined by your zip code so feel free to send us an email tcbeardies@hotmail.com including your zip code to find out what your cost would be. We offer a 72 hour health guarantee on all beardies shipped as long as someone is home to accept the lizards on the first delivery try. If ever you recieve your lizard and you are unsatisfied or the lizard is dead on arrival you must contact us within one hour of delivery.
It is common for your dragon to darken in color when you welcome it home due to stress from shipping and recieving a new home, but they generally acclimate in a week or two and show their true colors. It is also normal for your dragon to not eat for a couple days due to his new environment. It may help to start out by feeding what they were fed with us (see the Care Sheet) then gradually switching over to what you wish to feed. We represent our dragons honestly and want you to recieve exactly what you ordered. We offer support for the life of your dragon so feel free to ask us questions you may have.
Payment
We accept Paypal for payment of dragons. This is our first preference and will get your dragon shipped to you as soon as possible. Personal checks are not accepted. All money orders must be United States Postal Money Orders and mailed to us via Overnight or Priority Mail and have tracking numbers. This is to protect both parties in the event a payment is "lost in the mail". We also accept cash.
